Engagement with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA)

IPF > 2019 > Engagement with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA)

The Institute of Public Finance Kenya has been a member of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) for the last one year. KEPSA is a private sector umbrella body in Kenya that seeks to consolidate the voice of the business community for an improved business environment.

KEPSA does this by collaborating with both government and other stakeholders to successfully influence policy. The Institute is a member of Public Finance, Gender and youth, Agriculture and Devolution sector boards.

Some of the developing concerns at KEPSA that the Institute has been keen on include conversations on the National Tax Policy that is still being developed , and the introduction of double taxation of both Turn-over and presumptive tax whose impact will be felt by Micro, Small and Medium Size enterprises ( MSMEs).
